Contre - Images

As part of 3 Days in Paris and by invitation of the Maria Lund Gallery, the young Polish choreographer and performer Agnieszka Ryszkiewicz proposes in Contre Images (Counter Images) an antidote to the images of violence that have overwhelmed the French capital after recent terrorists attacks.

Counter Images follows in the footsteps of masters of absurd and black humor like Marx Brothers or Joseph Heller. In order to provide us with some actual weapons and armor to fight the horrible it offers laughter and distance but smartly avoids irony by implicated the delicate human body in its vulnerability.
