Potentiellement Heureux
THEATER ∙ DANCE
premiere Silencio Club, Paris
2014
Potentiellement Heureux (Potentially Happy), is a two parts dance theater piece premiered in 2014 at the Silencio Club, Paris (FR).
It is hard to draw a line between the art of dance and the art of seduction. At times explicitly, but more often unconsciously and even despite themselves, the dancers’ bodies constantly aim to mesmerize the public.
Potentiellement Heureux/ Potentially Happy is a story of three characters, Mona Paradise, River Sprinkle and Lola, who turn the art of charming the audience into a routine. But can we actually write down the movement of sensations? That of emotions? Relations? These are the questions explored by this uncanny cabaret in black-and-white.
